Unit4 to be acquired by Private Equity TA Associates in $2BN buy out

The Deal

Unit4, the Dutch enterprise resource planning software vendor announced it will be acquired by TA Associates in a deal worth $2BN. This will mean the exit of current investor Advent International which acquired the Netherlands based company in 2014.

Who is Unit4?

Unit4 is a software vendor specializing in enterprise resource planning software. The company focuses on public sector, not for profit, professional services and education clients. The organization was founded in 1980 and merged with Agresso in 2000.

Today it has over 2,600 employees worldwide with revenues of over 412 millions euros.
