Real Dynamics 365 implementations delivered by Stoneridge Software — summarised from case studies published on their website, with only the figures the original source reports.

Hermanson Company

Construction (mechanical contracting)United States

Sage (legacy ERP with custom modifications)Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management

reduced from 15 days to under 10 days

month end close

Challenge: Hermanson, a Pacific Northwest mechanical contractor, was running an unstable legacy Sage ERP patched with outdated customizations, and a prior Dynamics 365 implementation attempt had stalled for two years without a go-live. Complex union payroll, siloed data, and financial closes taking over two weeks compounded the problem.

Solution: Stoneridge Software restarted the project with an MVP scope and implemented Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management, with dual-write integration to Dynamics 365 Field Service for time tracking, a custom API integration to ADP payroll, an Excel-based project setup tool, a Power Apps cost-forecasting app for project managers, and Power BI dashboards for WIP and project profitability.

Results: The company reached go-live after years of stalled progress. Payroll processing time was cut in half despite a workforce that doubled, and month-end close dropped from 15 days to under 10. Forecasting and cost control were unified across Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Autodesk data.

Our project had been going on for two years. We did a full reboot--new partner, new program manager, revamped internal and external teams. We needed to get live as fast as possible.

Black Gold Farms

Agriculture (potato production)United States

Microsoft Dynamics GP (on-premises)Dynamics 365 Business Central

Purchase-order management replaced manually tracked procurement documents, and financial data was consolidated across three legal entities for faster reporting. Real-time inventory visibility reduced reliance on spreadsheets, and redesigned data imports gave the internal team self-service control over integrations.

Challenge: Black Gold Farms, a fourth-generation family-owned potato producer, had outgrown on-premises Dynamics GP. Inventory was tracked through manual processes with no integrations, procurement lacked defined purchase-order management, and the on-premises infrastructure did not support remote access or scalability.

Solution: Stoneridge Software implemented Dynamics 365 Business Central, adding tracked inventory management for the first time, tiered approval workflows for purchasing and payables, and API-based integration designs for agriculture-specific systems. Third-party tools Celigo (order management integration) and Continia (OCR and approvals) extended the platform.

Results: Purchase-order management replaced manually tracked procurement documents, and financial data was consolidated across three legal entities for faster reporting. Real-time inventory visibility reduced reliance on spreadsheets, and redesigned data imports gave the internal team self-service control over integrations.

QuickBooks, followed by a failed Business Central implementation by another partnerDynamics 365 Business Central

Inventory and general-ledger figures now reconcile, costing and pricing are consistent, and drop-shipment reconciliation work has been reduced. Financial reporting moved out of Excel into Business Central, and the reduced extension footprint simplified ongoing support.

Challenge: After outgrowing QuickBooks, North Georgia Beverage selected Business Central but an unsuccessful implementation by another partner left inventory that did not reconcile with the general ledger, mixed costing methods (FIFO, Average, Standard) applied inconsistently, negative inventory balances, manual Excel-based financial reporting, and a delayed Fieldpoint field-service integration.

Solution: Stoneridge Software ran an assessment and recommended a full reimplementation: a new Business Central company with clean configurations, inventory costing reset to FIFO across all items, corrected drop-shipment processes, financial statements rebuilt inside Business Central instead of Excel, consolidated third-party extensions, and guidance on the Fieldpoint integration.

Results: Inventory and general-ledger figures now reconcile, costing and pricing are consistent, and drop-shipment reconciliation work has been reduced. Financial reporting moved out of Excel into Business Central, and the reduced extension footprint simplified ongoing support.

The Stoneridge team is an amazing group of very talented people with the technical expertise and leadership that delivers results. I have enjoyed every interaction with this team and feel lucky to be one of their customers.
