Overview

Kuebix is a cloud-based transportation management system (TMS) for shippers managing less-than-truckload (LTL), parcel, and full truckload freight. The platform lets users rate, book, and track shipments from a single interface, comparing rates across a connected network of carriers and managing freight execution, document generation, and shipment visibility. Kuebix targets small-to-midmarket and larger shippers, and offers an entry-level product (OnKue) alongside its more configurable enterprise TMS.

The product was founded as an independent TMS vendor and was acquired by Trimble in 2020. In late 2023, Trimble divested Kuebix to FreightWise LLC, which now owns and operates the platform. Under FreightWise, Kuebix remains a standalone SaaS TMS and is paired with FreightWise's managed transportation and pre-negotiated carrier rate offerings. Kuebix was referenced in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Transportation Management Systems (midmarket context).

Kuebix emphasizes rapid implementation and self-service rate shopping, with pre-built connections to a network of transportation partners and integration paths into ERP, WMS, OMS, and eCommerce systems via API and EDI. It is positioned for shippers that want multi-carrier rate comparison, freight audit, and analytics without heavy IT involvement, while still supporting deeper system integrations for higher-volume operations.
