Overview
NetSuite Warehouse Management System (WMS) is the native warehouse management module within Oracle NetSuite's cloud ERP. It optimizes day-to-day warehouse operations using mobile RF barcode scanning and defined strategies for putaway and picking, with all inventory data held directly inside NetSuite as a single source of truth.
The mobile application lets workers perform receiving, putaway, picking, packing and return-authorization receipts directly from a handheld device, running on dedicated RF scanners (Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic) or consumer tablets paired with Bluetooth scanners. It supports wave release and pick-and-pack strategies for single- and multi-order picking, bin-level inventory structures that mirror the physical warehouse, and continuous cycle counting driven by ABC analysis.
Because it is embedded in NetSuite, the WMS shares the same database as financials, order management and inventory, eliminating sync delays. It is positioned for growing distributors, manufacturers and wholesalers already standardized on the NetSuite platform.
