Overview

A2X is a connector that reconciles ecommerce and marketplace payouts against accounting records. Rather than syncing every individual order line, it takes the settlement or payout data from a sales channel, such as an Amazon or Shopify payout that bundles many orders, fees, refunds and taxes into one deposit, and breaks it into a categorised, accountant-ready summary that posts into the connected accounting or ERP system.

A2X connects channels including Amazon, Shopify, eBay, Etsy, Walmart and PayPal to QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite and Sage, and automatically applies tax categorisation and cost-of-goods-sold handling to each summary. Two companion products extend the core reconciliation offering: A2X Subledger adds order-to-cash level detail for higher-volume brands, and A2X Clarity adds SKU, channel and customer-level profitability analytics on top of the reconciled data.

A2X has focused on ecommerce accounting reconciliation since 2014 and works primarily through a network of certified ecommerce accountants and bookkeepers who use it to close multi-channel sellers' books.
