Overview
SAPreconciled is a reconciliation and transaction-review platform built specifically for SAP finance teams. Rather than importing balances into a generic close tool, it reads the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) directly and rebuilds the business-process chain behind every posting: which process created it, what SAP source evidence should exist, whether the posting reconciles against that proof, and, when it does not, why it failed and what finance should do next. The vendor describes this as a "lineage engine" and states the product is SAP-certified and runs on SAP Business Technology Platform.
The platform has four pillars. Automated reconciliations classify each accounting line, match it against SAP documents, Excel workpapers, approvals or counterparty evidence, and flag anomalies where expected documents or workflow steps are missing or delayed. AI agents then review exceptions like a senior auditor would, explaining the root cause and recommending a next action in finance language, with rules (not the agents) making the underlying pass/fail decision. A "Savings Made Instantly" view mines the same reconciliation evidence for candidate cash leakage across procurement, working capital, duplicate payments, process rework, GL operations and order-to-cash. Finally, an ECC to S/4HANA reconciliation mode profiles every legacy transaction (no sampling) to expose migration gaps, transformation errors and lineage breaks, sold as a fixed-fee migration-assurance analysis.
SAPreconciled is a young, Ireland-based vendor (Ballinamore, County Leitrim) with transparent flat-rate pricing from EUR 1,000 per month. It is SAP-only, runs read-only during reconciliation (it does not post or change accounting entries), and pilots start with one company code, one period and an agreed process scope. Buyers should treat the SAP certification and customer traction as vendor-stated: no SAP Store listing, third-party reviews or named customers were found at the time of writing.

Common use cases
- SAP S/4HANA finance teams that want every Universal Journal posting reconciled to source evidence rather than sampled at period end
- Replacing Excel-based reconciliations by matching backup workbooks directly to ACDOCA lines with variances flagged automatically
- Controllers who need a close-readiness view by business process (intercompany, P2P, O2C) before line-item review starts
- Finding evidence-backed spend leakage (duplicate payments, missed discounts, GR/IR drift, aged receivables) from data already in SAP
- De-risking an SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration by reconciling every legacy transaction and producing remediation lists
- Intercompany matching: identifying one-sided postings and unresolved IC breaks with an explained root cause
- Audit-readiness: giving internal and external auditors full lineage from any GL posting back to its source document
Strengths & considerations
Strengths
- Built directly on the SAP Universal Journal (ACDOCA), so reconciliations run at the posting level with native SAP lineage instead of on imported balances
- Rules make the pass/fail decision and AI agents only explain and recommend, which keeps the reconciliation result deterministic and auditable
- The same reconciliation evidence doubles as a spend-leakage and working-capital opportunity finder ('Savings Made Instantly')
- A dedicated ECC to S/4HANA migration reconciliation mode with no sampling, sold as a fixed-fee analysis
- Transparent, published flat-rate pricing (EUR 1,000 / 2,000 / 3,000 per month) in a category dominated by quote-only vendors
- Read-only by design during reconciliation testing, so a pilot cannot alter accounting entries
Considerations
- SAP-only: there is no support for NetSuite, Oracle, Dynamics 365 or other ERPs, so mixed-ERP groups will need a second tool
- Not a full close-management suite: no close checklists, task ownership, sign-off certification or consolidation features are evidenced
- Read-only: it does not create, approve or post journal entries back into SAP
- Early-stage vendor with no named customers, third-party reviews or public case studies found at the time of writing
- SAP certification and 'no data movement' are vendor statements; no SAP Store listing was found to verify them independently
- Pilots run on ACDOCA extracts and Excel workpapers supplied by the client; live CDS / OData connectivity is positioned as a production step

Runs on SAP Business Technology Platform (Cloud Foundry) with SAP HANA Cloud staging and reads ACDOCA directly; pilots load extracts, production can use approved CDS views or OData feeds. Read-only: no journal entries are posted back. The vendor states SAP ICC certification, but no SAP Store listing was found, so graded prebuilt-connector rather than certified-marketplace.

SAPreconciled — frequently asked questions
What is SAPreconciled?
SAPreconciled is a native SAP lineage engine that reads the Universal Journal (ACDOCA) to reconstruct the full lifecycle of every GL posting. It reconciles each posting against SAP, Excel, approval or counterparty evidence, uses AI agents to explain exceptions and recommend fixes, surfaces spend-leakage opportunities from the same data, and reconciles SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
Does SAPreconciled work with SAP ECC as well as S/4HANA?
The reconciliation engine runs on ACDOCA, the S/4HANA Universal Journal. ECC is supported as the source side of the ECC to S/4HANA migration reconciliation, where legacy extracts are profiled and reconciled against the S/4HANA target to find migration gaps and blockers.
How much does SAPreconciled cost?
Pricing is published: Entry at EUR 1,000 per month, Medium at EUR 2,000 per month and Large at EUR 3,000 per month, sized by SAP landscape and data volume. The ECC to S/4HANA migration analysis is a fixed fee of EUR 9,999. There is no free trial; engagements start with a scoped pilot.
Does SAPreconciled post journal entries into SAP?
No. It is read-only during reconciliation and does not post or change accounting entries. It produces proof views, exception codes, readiness scores, remediation lists and recommended actions for finance to act on in SAP.
Is SAPreconciled SAP-certified?
The vendor states the product is SAP-certified (SAP ICC) and built on SAP Business Technology Platform. We could not find an SAP Store listing to verify this independently, so ask for the certification reference during evaluation.
How does the AI work, and can it be trusted for reconciliations?
The rule engine, not the AI, decides whether a posting reconciles: it classifies the process, checks the expected evidence and assigns a status and exception code. The AI agent layer then explains the root cause and recommends a next action from that structured evidence, with a confidence / risk rating. This keeps the reconciliation result deterministic and auditable.
What does 'Savings Made Instantly' actually find?
It mines reconciliation evidence for candidate opportunities in six areas: procurement and vendor cost, working capital and treasury, leakage and compliance errors such as duplicate payments, process inefficiency such as GR/IR drift, GL operations such as idle cash and over-accruals, and order-to-cash items such as aged receivables and unbilled revenue. Values are indicators until finance validates and closes each action.
