A Workday staffing partner supplies certified Workday consultants — functional, technical, or integration specialists — on a contract or augmentation basis, rather than delivering a full turnkey implementation. Organisations use staffing partners to fill a specific skills gap, cover attrition mid-project, or add capacity during peak phases like testing and go-live.

Use a staffing partner when you already have programme leadership and methodology in place — internally or through an existing Services Partner — and simply need certified individual consultants to fill capacity. Use a full implementation partner when you need end-to-end delivery, project management, and accountability for the outcome.

Ask for the specific certifications held (e.g. HCM Core, Financials, Integrations) and the consultant's certification date, since Workday certifications require periodic renewal against each release. Reputable staffing partners will confirm this readily; reluctance to specify is a warning sign.
