Overview
Enablon is an integrated risk-management software platform, owned by Wolters Kluwer and operated within its Corporate Performance and ESG division, that helps organizations manage environment, health and safety (EHS), process safety, operational risk, control of work, and ESG performance from a single system. Its Vision Platform brings Risk and Compliance, Engineering and Operations, and EHSQ and Sustainability applications together in one configurable, single-screen solution used by large industrial and enterprise customers.
Within that platform, the Enablon ESG Excellence solution is the ESG- and sustainability-specific offering: it uses reporting and disclosure functionality powered by CCH Tagetik (another Wolters Kluwer product) to give non-financial ESG data the same audit rigor as financial data. It supports GHG emissions management, double materiality assessments, ESG risk identification, and report conformance with frameworks including IFRS, TCFD, GRI, CDP and CSRD, alongside adjacent modules for air compliance, utility data management and stakeholder/CSR reporting.
Enablon is delivered as a centrally hosted, multi-tenant SaaS product with native iOS and Android mobile apps (plus Apple Watch support) and achieves a yearly SOC 2 Type 2 attestation. Verdantix has named Wolters Kluwer Enablon a Leader in its Green Quadrant reports for EHS software, ESG and Sustainability Reporting software, and Process Safety Management software. Per vendor-published figures, Enablon customers include roughly 90 percent of the largest oil and gas companies, 70 percent of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies, and 70 percent of the largest aerospace and defense companies, reflecting a customer base concentrated in large, asset-intensive enterprises.

Considerations
- Wolters Kluwer does not publish a list of named, certified ERP connectors for Enablon; ERP data integration is described only generically (Enablon Open Insights integrates with real-time data sources including ERPs and IoT devices) and appears to be scoped per implementation rather than offered as off-the-shelf certified connectors
- No published self-service pricing; engagement is quote-based via a requested demo
Pricing
