Overview
IBM Envizi is an ESG data management and reporting suite that helps organizations capture, calculate and disclose environmental, social and governance data, with a particular focus on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions accounting and decarbonization planning. The product originated as Envizi, an ESG software company founded in Sydney, Australia, in 2004; IBM acquired it in January 2022 and has since folded it into its Sustainability Software portfolio.

Its Integration Hub connects to ERP and other systems that expose APIs (SAP is cited by IBM as an example) via webhook, alongside Excel-template mapping and Watson Discovery-powered document processing for invoices and utility bills. The suite holds SOC 1, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications and received FedRAMP authorization in October 2024.
