Overview
Cube is a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) platform, marketed as an agentic FP&A platform, that unifies data from ERPs, CRMs, HRIS systems, data warehouses and billing platforms into a governed data layer and layers AI agents on top to automate planning, forecasting, reporting and month-end close tasks. It is aimed at finance teams -- CFOs, FP&A analysts and controllers -- at high-growth and mid-market companies, and is built to work inside the spreadsheets teams already use rather than replace them.
The platform is organized around a central Cube Workspace (dashboards, an integration and governance hub, an FP&Agent suite of AI agents, and version-controlled collaboration) plus native add-ins for Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Slack and Microsoft Teams. A patented bi-directional connector lets users pull and push governed, multi-dimensional data directly in Excel or Sheets while preserving formulas and formatting. Cube also ships an MCP server that exposes governed, role-based-access data to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini for natural-language financial Q&A. Workflow coverage spans driver-based budgeting and forecasting, multi-entity consolidation with automated intercompany elimination and currency translation, workforce and headcount planning, variance analysis, and board and investor reporting with AI-generated commentary.
Cube is headquartered in New York City, with a hub in Toronto, and was founded by CEO Christina Ross, a former three-time CFO. The company has raised outside venture funding, including a 20 million dollar raise announced in 2026 that it said followed a Series B round and more than 400 percent top-line revenue growth. Cube reports serving hundreds of high-growth and mid-market companies including Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Wild, Cracker Barrel, Valvoline, Betterment and Crunchbase, and is SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliant.
