Overview

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is Oracle's integration platform as a service, combining application integration, process automation, visual application building, and pre-built recipes in a single cloud service on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). OIC is designed to connect Oracle SaaS applications -- such as Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite, and Oracle HCM -- with each other and with third-party systems, using adapters that encapsulate authentication, metadata, and pagination so integrations can be built with mapping and configuration rather than custom code.

The platform offers 400+ adapters and a catalog of prebuilt integration recipes and accelerators for common scenarios (for example, integrations to Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, and SAP). Integrations are built in a browser-based designer with triggers, invokes, and visual mapping, while a low-code process automation designer handles structured and dynamic workflows, business rules, and approvals. OIC also includes visual application development for building lightweight web/mobile front ends over integrated data, and B2B/EDI capabilities.

Oracle Integration is part of Oracle's broader cloud platform and is commonly adopted by organizations running Oracle ERP, EPM, HCM, or NetSuite that need to integrate those systems with the rest of their application estate. It is sold through Oracle's cloud consumption model.

Alternatives to Oracle Integration Cloud in iPaaS

Oracle Integration Cloud — frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a recipe and an accelerator in OIC?

A recipe is a prebuilt sample integration flow for a common scenario that you customize before use; an accelerator is a larger, more complete solution package that may combine multiple integrations and process automations.

Does OIC only integrate Oracle systems?

No. While it has deep native adapters for Oracle Fusion ERP, NetSuite, and HCM, it provides 400+ adapters including Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, and SAP.

Can OIC build applications, not just integrations?

Yes. OIC includes Visual Builder for low-code web and mobile applications and a process automation designer for workflows in addition to its integration capabilities.
