Overview
TIBCO Cloud Integration (TCI) is an iPaaS that supports API-led and event-driven integration of cloud and on-premises systems through an intuitive graphical interface. It is part of the broader TIBCO integration portfolio, which combines the ultra-light, event-driven Flogo application engine with TIBCO BusinessWorks for traditional enterprise integration patterns and microservices, plus connectivity originally delivered by TIBCO Scribe for application/data integration. This lets teams build lightweight cloud-native flows or robust enterprise integrations within the same product family.
The platform provides 200+ pre-built connectors for business suites, databases, and legacy technologies, including connectors for SAP (invoking RFC/BAPI interfaces), OData, SFTP, and Salesforce. Flogo's ultra-light app engine can be deployed in containers, as serverless functions, or as static binaries on edge/IoT devices, while TCI also supports managed cloud, self-managed, on-premises, and edge deployment for flexible hosting. The platform includes API creation and management capabilities alongside integration.
TIBCO's products are now part of Cloud Software Group, formed in 2022 from the combination of TIBCO and Citrix under Vista Equity Partners and Evergreen Coast Capital. TIBCO has a long history in enterprise integration and messaging and primarily serves mid-size to large organizations with hybrid integration needs.
