Overview
Jobber is a field service management platform built for home and commercial service businesses such as landscaping, HVAC, cleaning, plumbing, painting and pest control. It replaces spreadsheets, paper work orders and standalone invoicing tools with a single system covering quoting, scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and customer communication.
The platform is organised around the job lifecycle: a customer requests work, the business sends a quote, an approved quote converts into a scheduled job, the team is dispatched and tracked in the field, and the completed job is invoiced and paid online. A client-facing portal (Client Hub) lets customers request work, approve quotes, view schedules, and pay invoices or tip online.
Rather than shipping its own general ledger, Jobber pushes its job and payment data into accounting systems -- primarily QuickBooks Online and Xero -- so service businesses can run day-to-day operations in Jobber while keeping their books in a dedicated accounting product. Jobber reports serving around 100,000 customers across 50+ home and commercial service industries and is headquartered in Edmonton, Canada.

- Client Hub gives end customers a self-serve portal for quote approval, scheduling visibility and online payment, reducing back-and-forth for the service business
- Deliberately positions itself as the field operations system of record and defers bookkeeping to QuickBooks Online or Xero via one-way sync rather than building its own ledger

Alternatives to Jobber in Field Service
Jobber — frequently asked questions
Does Jobber integrate with QuickBooks Online?
Yes. Jobber has a native QuickBooks Online integration that automatically and continuously syncs clients, products/services, timesheets, invoices, payments, refunds, tips and payouts. The sync is one-way from Jobber to QuickBooks Online, so edits should be made in Jobber. It's available on the Connect plan and above.
Does Jobber integrate with Xero?
Yes. Jobber syncs clients, products/services, invoices and payments to Xero in a one-way sync from Jobber to Xero. It's available in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and New Zealand on Connect and Grow plans.
How much does Jobber cost?
Jobber's Core plan starts at $39/month for one user (billed monthly; $29/month billed annually). Higher tiers -- Connect, Grow and Plus -- add more users and features such as QuickBooks/Xero sync, job costing and two-way texting, up to $599/month for the Plus team plan.
Does Jobber replace accounting software?
No. Jobber manages quoting, scheduling, dispatching, invoicing and payments for field operations, then syncs invoice and payment data into QuickBooks Online or Xero so bookkeeping and financial reporting happen in the accounting system, not in Jobber.
