Overview

Fluent Commerce is a cloud-native distributed order management system (OMS) built for retailers, DTC brands, distributors and other omnichannel sellers. The platform centralises order orchestration, inventory visibility and store fulfillment so brands can promise accurate delivery dates, source orders from the lowest-cost or fastest location, and fulfil from warehouses, stores or third-party partners without replacing their existing ERP or commerce stack.

The product is organised into modules: Fluent Order Management (the core order lifecycle and orchestration engine), Fluent Big Inventory (a real-time, multi-channel available-to-promise inventory hub), Fluent Order Promising (delivery/pickup date estimates shown at browse and checkout), Fluent Store (pick, pack, ship and click-and-collect tooling for store associates), and Fluent Analytics (GenAI-assisted KPI and issue tracking). Order Management Experience (OMX) is a low-code layer for building custom workflows and UI screens on top of the platform, and Fluent Connect is an AI-assisted integration layer intended to shorten connector build time.

Fluent Commerce sells into brands that run commerce platforms (Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, BigCommerce, Spryker and others) and enterprise ERPs side by side, positioning the OMS as the orchestration layer that sits between the two rather than a replacement for either. It was named a Leader in the Forrester Wave for Order Management Systems, Q1 2025, and lists customers including PUMA, L'Oreal, LVMH brands, ALDO Group, HEMA, Freedom, Woolrich, Breitling and Psycho Bunny.
