How to Evaluate NetSuite's AI (Buying or Renewing)

1. Get the availability list in writing. Current AI features enabled for your edition, localisation, and account — not the SuiteWorld slide. Distinguish generally available, phased, and roadmap.
2. Demo on your own records. Text Enhance on your item catalogue, forecasting on your history, AP capture on your actual supplier invoices — sample outputs vary far more than demos suggest.
3. Map AI value to modules you licence. If the compelling AI lives in modules you don't own, price the expansion honestly into the comparison.
4. Test the analytics story against your reporting pain. If saved searches are your bottleneck, natural-language query is the capability to pressure-test hardest — on your data, by your least technical users.
5. Probe agent governance. For anything agentic: approval gates, audit logging, role scoping, off-switch per process. The questions are the same for every vendor's agents.
