Acumatica Add-Ons & Marketplace Apps

Updated July 2026 · By the ERP Research Editorial Team · Independent and vendor-neutral — no vendor pays for placement or ranking.

Acumatica add-ons are ISV applications that extend Acumatica Cloud ERP with specialist capabilities — AP automation, EDI, eCommerce integration and more. They build on Acumatica's open REST/contract-based APIs, and the strongest carry the Acumatica-Certified Application (ACA) badge, verified by Acumatica and listed on its official marketplace.

Acumatica's platform strategy is unusually ISV-friendly: open APIs, no per-user licensing (pricing scales with resource consumption), and a certification programme that requires ISVs to keep pace with Acumatica's twice-yearly releases. The result is a marketplace that punches above the product's market share — but also one where quality varies between certified flagship apps and thin connectors.

This directory sorts that landscape by business problem. Each category page compares the credible options for Acumatica specifically — including where Acumatica's own editions (like its native WMS in the Distribution Edition) make a third-party tool unnecessary.

The Acumatica Marketplace vs an independent directory

Acumatica's official marketplace is the catalogue of record for ISV apps, and the Acumatica-Certified Application badge is worth checking — certified apps must meet Acumatica's development standards and stay current with new releases. What the marketplace won't give you is a ranked, critical comparison of rival apps or a view on native-module sufficiency. That's the job of the category pages below.

Frequently asked questions

What is an Acumatica-Certified Application (ACA)?

ACA is Acumatica's certification for ISV apps that meet its development standards, integrate through its published APIs and are verified to work with current releases. Because Acumatica ships two major releases a year, certification is also a proxy for the ISV's ongoing investment — an uncertified integration can silently break at upgrade time.

How do add-ons affect Acumatica's consumption-based pricing?

Acumatica licenses by transaction/resource consumption rather than named users, so a high-volume integration (EDI or eCommerce order sync, for instance) can increase your resource tier. Model peak transaction volumes with your partner before adding a heavy integration — it changes the total cost calculation in a way per-user ERPs don't.

Which Acumatica edition do add-ons target?

Most ISV apps work across editions (General Business, Distribution, Manufacturing, Construction, Retail), but several overlap with edition-specific native modules — Acumatica WMS ships in the Distribution Edition, for example. Check both the app's edition support and whether your edition already includes the capability natively.
